Tour Plan
Your adventure with Mamu Travels begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, where you'll join your fellow travelers for a scenic drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, enjoy a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint to take in the breathtaking panoramic vistas and capture some memorable photos. The journey continues through Narok town, the gateway to the Maasai lands, with a chance to observe rural Kenyan life. You’ll arrive at your camp or lodge in time for lunch, followed by a brief rest. In the late afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the rolling plains of the Mara, which are teeming with wildlife. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay, with the sounds of the African wilderness surrounding you.
Rise early for breakfast before setting out on a full day of game viewing in Masai Mara, Kenya’s premier wildlife destination. With packed lunch boxes, you’ll explore deep into the reserve in search of the "Big Five" – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino – as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and countless species of birds. You’ll visit the Mara River, where you might witness crocodiles and hippos basking or spot the dramatic scenes of the Great Migration (seasonal, typically July to October). Your knowledgeable driver-guide will provide insights into animal behavior and the ecosystem. After a thrilling day on safari, return to the camp to relax, enjoy a hearty dinner, and share stories around the campfire.
On your final day, you’ll enjoy an early morning game drive to catch a glimpse of the wildlife at its most active, with predators often hunting at dawn. After returning to the camp for a leisurely breakfast, begin the journey back to Nairobi with a lunch stop en route. You’ll arrive in the late afternoon or early evening, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, bringing an end to an unforgettable safari experience with Mamu Travels.
