The lodge is set on an oxbow of the Mara River and is surrounded on all sides by the river except for a 100 yards section where the river has not yet cut the ox-bow free to become a true island.

The luxurious lodge has only 7 elegant suites which are extremely spacious has stylish mahogany flooring with an open plan sleeping and living area, complete with fireplace.
Comfortable seating is provided both is the living area and on the terrace so that the true tranquility of the lodge can be best appreciated.
