Amboseli National Park is one of the top Kenya safari national parks that is known for having big herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park covers an area of about 392 square kilometers and the vegetation of this park is dominated by acacia woodland, rocky thorny bushes, swamps marshland and a Pleistocene Lake known as Lake Amboseli.

ITINERARY:
Amboseli is renowned for its Elephants as well as the stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. This amazing park has large concentration of Buffalo, elephants, cheetah, zebra, and giraffe among others.
Day 1: Nairobi-Amboseli
Depart Nairobi at 7.00am and drive south to Amboseli via Namanga border, arrive time for lunch. After lunch proceed to the park for afternoon game drive, spot large herds of elephants and plentiful plains game against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. As the sunsets enjoy a sundowner overlooking Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 2: Amboseli
Early morning game drive return to the camp/lodge for breakfast, thereafter proceed to the park for another game drive. The plains offer numerous jackals, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, vervet monkeys, antelopes and the chance of spotting leopard or cheetah. Observation hill, conical peak which is easy to climb offers great views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After lunch you can take another game drive or a guided nature walk. You may also have optional visit to authentic Maasai village. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3 Amboseli-Nairobi
Take an early pre-breakfast game drive, after breakfast drives back to Nairobi arrive late in the afternoon
